Ceiba ("we," "us," "our") operates useceiba.com and the Ceiba platform. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Waiting list: before the launch site went live, visitors could submit their email through a waiting-list form. We no longer run that form, but we still hold the email addresses we collected through it and may use them to reach out about Ceiba's availability.
• Platform accounts: if you sign up for a Ceiba account, we collect the information needed to create and secure your account (such as your name and email address) and to provide the service, including project configuration, API usage data, and billing information needed to process subscription payments. We use established, reputable third-party providers to handle authentication and payment processing on our behalf; we do not store your payment card details ourselves.
• Usage data: we may collect basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) as part of normal web server operation and for security purposes.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve Ceiba, communicate with you about your account or a past waiting-list submission, and maintain the security of our platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics. On this marketing site, analytics stay off by default until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; declining or ignoring the banner keeps analytics off, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. If you later create a Ceiba account, we link your prior anonymous browsing activity on this site to your account so we can understand how visitors become customers. Inside the authenticated Control Plane, we separately collect product-usage analytics (such as which features you use) to improve the service; this runs without a cookie banner because it is telemetry tied to an account you are already signed in to, not anonymous visitor tracking, and stopping it requires contacting us at the address below.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
